When should I book my cake?
We recommend you book your wedding cake with One Fine Day as soon as possible. We are limited in the number of cakes we can produce each week while continuing to give our best service and attention to detail. If you would like to secure your date with us, we require a £50 deposit – then we can finalise your cake design nearer your wedding date!!
What size of cake do I need to serve all my guests? And can you give me an idea of your costs?
Here are our sizes of wedding cakes we offer, average number of portions and basic prices.
2 Tier 6” & 10” 70 portions £250
8” & 12” 100 portions £320
3 Tier 6”, 8”, 10” 100-120 portions £340
6”, 9”, 12” 150 portions £410
4 Tier 4”, 6”, 8”, 10” 120 portions £385
6”, 8”, 10”, 12” 180-200 portions £440

What flavours of cake do you offer?
We offer rich fruit cake, vanilla sponge with butter icing and jam, chocolate sponge with chocolate ganache buttercream, chocolate orange, lemon, carrot cake (with raisins and walnuts) with cream filling.
Can you take out any ingredients such as nuts or cherries if you don’t like them?
Yes! As all our cakes are made to order, we can remove any ingredients you wish.
Do I have to order a cake from your website?
No, all our cakes are individually designed for each couple – we would love to hear your own ideas and together we can create your own bespoke design!!
Will you deliver our cake to the venue?
Yes! We can deliver and set up your cake in the reception venue for you – delivery prices depend on distance:
Lanarkshire/Glasgow £10 - £20
Edinburgh £25 - £30
Ayrshire £20 - £30
Fife £30 - £40
Do you supply cake stands?
Yes! We don’t charge for this service – we do however require a deposit of £40, which will be refunded to you when the stand is returned.
